It all starts with the wake. We know this because we’ve spent our entire lives behind ski boats, then wakeboard boats, then surf boats. Our engineers and designers know how to finely sculpt a surf wake that has push, along with the adjustable wake profiles to support your surfing progression. How do they know this? From their combined 60 years of boat bottom development at some of the most iconic water sports boat builders in the world. After all, wake shaping is WAY more art than science. If the wake ain’t right (In your best Tennessee accent), no amount of boat features can make the boat right.
Pontoon Top Deck
A pontoon deck seating layout makes life easy for everyone. No stepping down into a cockpit when you enter the boat, no seat cushions to climb over when you want to access the swim platform, and no skinny walkthrough to access the bow seating. A pontoon deck layout is pet friendly, kid friendly, and WAY more social than cramming your guest into segregated seating areas. Pontoon boats have long been the boat of choice of waterfront property owners, because they seat more people, more comfortably than any other layout. The elevated driving position is three feet higher than traditional runabouts, which provides the captain with a more commanding view of the water and approaching conditions. For the orthopedically challenged, pontoon decks are easier to board, and provide loading access from the side as well as the bow. In short, a pontoon deck layout is the BOMB!

Our proprietary hull and tab systems are engineered to shred. The boats features a ballast capacity of 3000 pounds in the 23 and 4200 pounds in the 25, which amplifies wake size to deliver outstanding push across all wake profiles.

Liquid Propulsion Stern Thruster
All Montara boats come standard with Liquid Propulsion Stern thrusters powered by their own proprietary rechargeable battery. Other boat builders sell Thrusters as expensive options, On all Montara’s, the Thruster system is standard.

A unique feature on every Montara boat is our Basement Storage offering the largest storage area of any watersport boat on the market by a large margin. So store your mooring cover, your Fenders and inflatables completely out of sight and out of you way on deck.
