HOW IS THE EVO DIFFERENT FROM THE 2.0?
They share the same hull, ballast, and surf tab setup so they create an identical wake. The EVO is the evolved model — it adds a 15-inch wake-shaping touchscreen, a split-back stern lounge that seats forward and rear-facing passengers at once, a fiberglass swivel-and-slide helm, LED bow-eye docking lights and richer interior appointments, all standard.
WHAT SIZES DOES THE EVO COME IN?
The EVO comes in the same two sizes as the Montara 2.0, 23 feet 4 inches and 25 feet 4 inches. But those measurements don’t include the Swim Platform that adds another 2 feet, 3 inches to those lengths.
WHAT DOES THE 15-INCH TOUCHSCREEN DO?
The EVO’s 15-inch touchscreen adds a significant upgrade in computing power over the 2.0’s standard 12-inch touch screen. The EVO screen controls all your RGB lighting controls, all your settings, including custom menus for wakeboarding, foiling and surfing. It controls wake shape profiles, shows you your surf tab placement, and can present the percentage of water pumped into the port and starboard ballast bags. It supports one-touch crossover activation of your surf wake from surf-right to surf-left. or left to right. Its shows your real-time fuel burn in gallons per hour and presents current voltages for both the starting and house batteries. It does even more, but we’re out of room here.
WHAT LAYOUT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
The EVO’s split back stern lounge is so popular, that it’s become the defining feature of Each EVO layout. You can have port side lean back seating or an additional reversable helm seat for your co-pilot. This website shows overheads of each. Can you find them?

At a Montara Dealer. But EVO’s don’t stay in stock long, so if your dealer is out, come see us at the Montara Factory in Tennessee. We’ll take you out in ours and help your dealer get one for you.
