About the Position

Quality technicians thoroughly inspect every boat to ensure that each boat and all of its components meet the standards of Montara and Montara’s customer. Must be patient and detail oriented in assessing the boat and making sure nothing is missed.

Responsibilities

Quality technicians will perform a wide range of duties, such as but not limited to:

· Inspects all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards

· Work with a team or individually to complete daily task

· Keep a clean and orderly work area

· Operates and maintains hand and power tools and equipment

· Documenting results of each inspection

· Assist in corrective actions

· Must be able to read orders and identify missing or defective parts

· Follow safety and security policies and procedures

· Pressure test fuel system

· Other duties may be assigned

· Prefer to have at least 1 year      experience working in a manufacturing environment with Assembly line      experience

· Must have strong attention to detail

· Must be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time

· Ability to lift 50lb.occasionally and carry approximately 20 ft

· Clear verbal and written communication skills

· Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects

· Ability to work in a team setting or individually to complete tasks in a timely manner
